Community engagement, mentorship, and kinship are central to my creative practice. As a teaching artist, I regularly facilitate beadwork and other art-making workshops for Native youth groups, Native community centers, and Native womxn's talking circles as well as non-Native organizations, institutions, and spaces..
I work closely with the First Peoples of the unceded lands I occupy, collaborating regularly with both the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians and the Gabrieleno/Tongva San Gabriel Band of Mission Indians. Likewise, I work with tribally affiliated and Native-led arts and cultural organizations such as Pukúu Cultural Community Services, The Chapter House, Indigenous Circle of Wellness, Meztli Projects, and the So'oh-Shinálí Sister Project.
